Reflections on Russian medical education system from the perspective of structural functionalism

Abstract: This paper applies Parsons' “AGIL” functional framework to analyze the medical education system of Russia in combination with Russia's economic system, political system, social community system and cultural model hosting system. Some thoughts and suggestions on the reform of medical education in China are formed like pooling social resources to provide stronger support ; refining system law, strengthening social solidarity; cooperating with all stakeholders an with integration of multiple culture elements, so to reform current social value concept and create a powerful engine to drive education development.
