Application of mixed learning based on WeChat platform in medical students' online public elective courses

Abstract: With the rapid development of modern information technology, the hybrid teaching method based on WeChat learning in virtual space through video courseware and organizing question answering guidance in physical space has become a good choice for online public elective courses of medical specialty. In this paper, taking two network public elective courses offered by the Peking University Health Science Center based onWeChat public platform as examples, it expounds the design steps, teaching implementation process and teaching evaluation means of Hybrid Teaching mode, and evaluated the application effect. The results show that the mixed learning mode based on WeChat platform is beneficial to improve students' learning enthusiasm, help students to make a full use of fragmented time for learning, and thus improve the quality of teaching.
