摘要： 培养合格的眼科医师对于维护人民眼健康、提高人民生活质量是十分重要的。现代西医眼科教育在我国虽然起步晚但发展迅速。本文着重比较了中美两国的眼科学教育情况,描述了中美两国眼科医师培养模式的细节,分析了中美眼科学教育的异同。中美眼科学教育的比较,将有助于改进我国现有的眼科学教育教学设计,为医学教育工作者提供有益信息。

Abstract: Training qualified ophthalmic professional is crucial for the eye care system worldwide.Education of modern western Ophthalmology in China started late but develops rapidly.This review focused on the ophthalmic education in China and US,describing details of the programs and analyzing the differences.It may provide useful information based on experience from China and United States for practitioners of medical education and improve the present training designs.
