3D打印头模在口腔正畸学头影测量标志点定位教学中的应用

Application of 3D printed craniofacial model in landmark identification teaching of orthodontic cephalometric measurement

摘要: 目的 探讨3D打印头模辅助教学对口腔正畸学头影测量标志点定位教学效果的影响。方法 2021年6月,选取北京大学医学部口腔医学专业2017级本科生70人,采用随机数字表将其分为试验组和对照组,每组35人。试验组采用3D打印头颅模型辅助教学,对照组进行传统课堂教学,并收集学生头影测量标志点定位结果。通过t检验比较学生定位结果与教师定位结果的差异。结果 以耳点为例,对照组学生测量的坐标值为(-46.62±1.13,6.33±1.23),试验组学生测量的坐标值为(-46.79±0.21,6.46±0.53),对照组离散程度大于试验组;试验组学生测量的坐标值与教师测量的坐标值差值为(0.22±0.18,0.65±0.45),小于对照组学生的(0.75±0.83,1.08±0.92),其差异具有统计学意义(X轴:t=3.70,P=0.001,Y轴:t=2.51,P=0.016)。结论 将3D打印头模应用于口腔正畸学头影测量定位教学中,可以帮提高学生头影测量定位的准确性。

Abstract: Objective To explore the effect of using 3D printed craniofacial model on orthodontic cephalometric landmark identification teaching. Methods A total of 70 stomatology undergraduates enrolled in 2017 were selected and randomized into experimental group and control group averagely in June, 2020. The experimental group used 3D printed cranial models to assist teaching while the control group conducted routine teaching. Landmark identification results of the two groups were collected and measured. T-test was used to assess the accuracy of landmark identification. Results The coordinate of porion in control group was (-46.62±1.13,6.33±1.23) and in experimental group was (-46.79±0.21,6.46±0.53), suggesting the dispersion in control group was larger. The difference between the coordinates of porion and the standard point in the control group (0.75±0.83,1.08±0.92) and in experimental group (0.22±0.18,0.65±0.45) were statistically significant (X-axis: t=3.698 P=0.001, Y-axis: t=2.505 P=0.016). Conclusions The teaching of landmark identification in cephalometric measurement assisted by 3D printed model can improve the accuracy of students' landmark identification results.
