摘要： 为了有效培养来华留学生的临床技能,自2018年起,南方医科大学基于成果导向教育与能力本位教育构建了来华留学生临床技能学课程,采用学生成绩、问卷调查结果和课程相关成果评价课程实施效果。截至2024年,临床技能学课程共开设6轮,累计有482名来华留学生参与学习。优秀学生比例从第一轮的42.4%(39/92)升至第六轮的62.8%(27/43),不合格学生比例则从第一轮的5.4%(5/92)降至第六轮的0。2021年起课程不同单元结束后的调查结果显示,86.7%(560/646)的留学生对课程整体教学表示满意,87.9%(568/646)的留学生认可课程教学方法,87.9%(568/646)的留学生对师生互动效果评价良好,87.0%(562/646)的留学生表示愿意推荐本课程为最佳课程。留学生团队连续2年在“学在中国”来华留学生临床思维与技能竞赛中获奖,依托课程共获批国家级、省级和校级创新创业项目6项、师生共同研发的3项成果实现产业化,临床技能学课程被评为广东省一流本科课程(线下一流课程)和广东省本科高校思政示范课堂。该课程有助于激发留学生的学习积极性,使他们较好地掌握临床技能,课程同时也得到学生和相关部门的认可。

Abstract: In order to systematically enhance the clinical competency of international medical students in China, Southern Medical University has independently developed and delivered specialized clinical skills courses for these students since 2018, guided by outcome-based education (OBE) and competency-based education (CBE) theories. The overall effectiveness of curriculum implementation is comprehensively assessed through students′ academic performance, questionnaire feedback, and relevant curriculum construction outcomes. By 2024, a total of six cohorts have completed the courses, with a cumulative enrollment of 482 international students. The proportion of students with excellent academic performance increased from 42.4% (39/92) in the first cohort to 62.8% (27/43) in the sixth cohort, whereas the failure rate decreased from 5.4% (5/92) in the initial cohort to zero in the sixth. Post-unit questionnaire surveys administered annually since 2021 indicated high overall satisfaction among international students: 86.7% (560/646) of respondents expressed satisfaction with the curriculum design, 87.9% (568/646) acknowledged the rationality of teaching methodologies, 87.9% (568/646) gave positive ratings to teacher-student interaction, and 87.0% (562/646) were willing to recommend the courses as high-quality undergraduate programs. Additionally, international student teams supported by the curriculum have won awards for two consecutive years in the national learning in China-clinical thinking and skills competition for international students. Supported by this curriculum construction initiative, six innovation and entrepreneurship projects at the national, provincial and university levels have been successfully approved, and three teacher-student collaborative research outcomes have achieved industrial transformation. Furthermore, the courses have been accredited as Guangdong provincial first-class offline undergraduate courses and Guangdong provincial university demonstrative ideological and political courses. In conclusion, the established clinical skills courses can effectively motivate international students′ learning initiative, facilitate their proficient grasp of core clinical skills, and have gained wide recognition from learners and educational administrative authorities.
