Abstract: Great changes have taken place in Russia's medical education system in recent years. In order to meet the requirements of European higher medical education, cultivate high-quality medical talents meeting the needs of the 21 Century, and improve medicare and healthcare quality for Russian residents, professional accreditation, a new admission procedure for the accredited medical personnel, has been introduced since January 1st, 2016. The paper elaborates the regulation basis, accreditation body, operation modes, implementation methods for professional accreditation in Russia's health field and provides reference for experts and scholars in China's health field.
