A WeChat platform-based “internet plus” model in the teaching of laboratory medicine

Abstract: Along with the progress of medical education reform and the development unceasing advancement, requirements of laboratory medicine talents training in colleges and universities are also aiming higher. In order to adapt developments trend of the specialty and the training needs of modern medical talents, combining with the teaching reform of the Ministry of Education and the actual conditions of the society, this study introduces the new learning model of “internet plus”, building the capacity of students to explore and practice at a higher level, and broadening the basic theory of the professional, assisting colleges and universities to cultivate more applied talents possessed comprehensive ability. With the multi-field application of WeChat platform and the popularity of network teaching, the use of “internet plus” model to carry out teaching practice has been gradually achieved. A new laboratory medicine teaching mode based on WeChat public platform, adhering to the theory of “anytime, anywhere, anyone”, achieve the goal of sharing of teaching resources rapidly, breaking the limitations of time and space, reduce the burden of teachers, improve the quality of education.
