Application of critical care ultrasound simulation teaching method in critical care medical education

Abstract

Abstract: Objective To explore the application of critical care ultrasound simulation teaching in critical care medicine.Methods A total of eighty trainees from July 2016 to June 2018 in China-Japan Friendship Hospital were selected into two groups equally.Forty trainees were included in the traditional teaching group and taughtwith the classic teaching mode.Another forty trainees were included in the simulation teaching group with the simulation teaching mode.The theoretical examination and operational examination results of the two groups were compared.Results The theoretical and operational assessment scores of the simulated teaching group were higher than those of the traditional teaching group with statistically significance (45.25±2.45 vs 32.15±4.90,36.30±2.89 vs 26.85±2.66,all P<0.01).Conclusions The effect of simulated teaching of critical care ultrasound in the teaching of critical medicine is obviously better than that of traditional teaching methods.
