课程体系设置是医学教育的关键环节,是实现高素质医学人才培养的前提。本文梳理了约翰·霍普金斯大学医学院临床医学博士(doctor of medicine,MD)课程体系设置,分析其“从基因到社会”的课程体系模式。该模式强调生物学、社会、环境和心理因素对健康的影响,并注重跨学科教学、实践能力、社会责任、创新理念和国际化视野。这些理念为我国医学教育改革提供了重要启示,借鉴该模式有助于提升我国医学教育水平,培养适应现代医学挑战的高素质人才。
The curriculum system is an important part of medical education, and it is the prerequisite for cultivating high-quality talents in line with the requirements of the new era. This paper describes and analyzes the doctor of medicine (MD) curriculum system of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. The genes to society curriculum model of Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine requires students to not only pay attention to biology and disease itself, but also emphasize the role of social, environmental and psychological factors in health and disease, and emphasizes interdisciplinary teaching, practical ability training, social responsibility, innovative educational ideas and international perspective. These ideas provide important enlightenment for the reform of medical education in China, and through the study and reference of the genes to society curriculum model of Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, it is helpful to improve the concept of medical education in China and help us to train high-quality medical talents who can adapt to the challenges of modern medicine.
