中外合作办学是促进高等教育国际化的重要手段,也是培养学生国际视野和竞争力的有效办学方式。上海交通大学与加拿大渥太华大学合作举办的临床医学专业本科教育项目紧紧围绕国家对一流医学院校医学教育国际化改革和培养具有国际竞争力医学人才的要求,在管理机制、课程体系、师资队伍、质量控制等方面对临床医学专业本科5年的院校教育开展系列教学改革,在遵循医学教育规律的基础上,建立了符合国际先进教学理念和教学手段的临床医学本科“1+4”国际化人才培养模式,为临床医学教育改革提供一定的借鉴。
International collaboration in education is not only an important approach to promote globalization of higher education but also an effective school running mode to cultivate students' global vision and competitiveness. The joint undergraduate medical education program established by Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the University of Ottawa pivots on the demand for globalization of first-class medical schools and cultivating medical talents with an international horizon. In terms of management mechanism, curriculum system, faculty development, quality control, etc, a series of teaching reforms have been carried out for the five-year undergraduate medical education program. The Program built a “1+4” education model that followed the state-of-the-art educational concepts and approaches in the world and may provide reference for the globalization reformation of clinical medical education.
