A comparative study to evaluate the minimally invasive surgery training for postgraduates' laparoscopic skills

摘要: 目的 探讨微创外科课程对临床医学专业研究生临床技能培养的效果。方法 从参加微创外科课程的研究生中随机选取30人纳入实验组,从未参加微创外科课程但实践过微创手术的学员中随机选取30人纳入对照组,微创外科课程前后,对比实验组和对照组学员微创外科知识和腔镜操作技能的考核成绩。结果 学习微创外科课程前,实验组与对照组学员考核成绩基本相同;学习微创外科课程后,实验组学员考核成绩较学习前有较大的提高,并明显超过对照组学员,差异均具有统计学意义(均P<0.05)。结论 在研究生培养阶段开设微创外科基础理论和实践相结合的课程能够促进临床医学专业研究生对微创外科理论知识的掌握,有效地提高他们的腔镜外科操作能力。

Abstract: Objective To explore the value of minimally invasive surgery training for postgraduates' laparoscopic skill. Methods Totally 60 undergraduates or surgical students were divided into experimental and control group, with 30 cases in each group. The experimental group received minimally invasive surgery training including theory teaching and operation training. The control group did not receive special teaching but self-learning during internship stage. The effect of teaching was evaluated by examination and questionnaire. The data were analyzed through Chi-square and t-test test. Results Before the learning of minimally invasive surgery courses, the examination scores of the experimental group and the control group were quite similar. After the minimally invasive surgery learning, the examination scores of the experimental group were significantly higher than that before the training (P<0.001), and the results were significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusions The implement of minimally invasive surgery training promotes the mastery of the theoretical knowledge of minimally invasive surgery and improves the operational skill of endoscopic surgery.
