Objective This paper gives the feasible suggestions to optimize the construction of instructors in teaching hospitals in China from the perspective of academic margin structure so as to improve the quality of education of medical postgraduates in China.Methods Through the descriptive study on the status quo of the graduate tutor of four teaching hospitals in Heilongjiang Province, and the related literatures at home and abroad, it was analyzed the exist problems and solutions in the construction of postgraduates in China's clinical medical field from the perspective of academic margin structure.Results Not only unreasonable phenomenon in the academic structure of the four postgraduates in a medical college in Heilongjiang Province, but also a phenomenon of “inbreeding” in the majority of teaching hospitals in China.Conclusions There are unreasonable phenomena in the construction of postgraduates' tutor in most clinical teaching hospitals in our country. We should continue to optimize the clinical teaching system by strengthening government responsibility, perfect hospital management system, strengthening instructor teaching and medical ethics, etc.
