Objective To analyze the research on the construction of evaluation index system of curricular political and virtuous awareness in universities, and to describe the current situation and problems thereof. Methods Relevant literature were retrieved inChina National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang Data, VIP Database for Chinese Technical Periodicals by the key words ″curricular political and virtuous awareness″ and ″evaluation system″ and ″evaluation index system″ from Jan 1st, 2017 to Aug 20th, 2022. Descriptive statistical analysis was performed. Results A total of 118 papers were retrieved. The earliest article was published in 2018. Among them, 25 papers (21.2%) described the construction methods of evaluation index system. Among the 25 papers, the evaluation index systems of 9 papers (36.0%) merely used single construction method, and 16 papers (64.0%) chose teachers and students as evaluation subjects. Only 11 papers (44.0%) had clear weight assignments of the evaluation index systems, and reliability and validity were analyzed in 4 papers (16.0%). Conclusions More and more attention has been paid on the research of the construction of evaluation index system of curricular political and virtuous awareness in universities. However, the scientificity of the construction process of the evaluation index system needs to be improved, the evaluation subject needs to be diversified and the evaluate content needs to be improved.
