为了帮助新生适应大学学习方式、培养他们的自主学习能力、激发科研兴趣,天津医科大学设计“微生物的世界,你了解多少?”微生物学新生研讨课,自2019年起实施,截至2023年共开设4期,有48名学生选修了该课程。本研究介绍了该课程的设计和实施,并对其效果进行调查。46名学生接受了调查,结果显示,通过该课程的学习,44名(95.7%)学生认为有助于适应大学的学习生活,43名(93.5%)学生认为有助于了解微生物学专业基础知识和科学前沿进展,41名(89.1%)学生认为自主学习能力和创新意识有所提升,38名(82.6%)学生认为激发了对科研的兴趣。4期课程学生的成绩分别为(94.36±2.59)分、(93.62±2.65)分、(93.81±2.71)分和(95.08±2.01)分。微生物学新生研讨课有助于新生适应大学学习方式,帮助他们了解专业基础知识和科学前沿进展,培养他们的自主学习能力,并激发了他们的科研兴趣。
In order to help freshmen adapt to the learning style of university, cultivate their active learning ability, and stimulate their interest in scientific research, the freshman seminar ″How much do you know about the world of microorganisms?″ was designed in Tianjin Medical University. The curriculum has been implemented since 2019 and four rounds have been opened by 2023, a total of 48 students have enrolled in the course. This study introduced the design and implementation of the curriculum, and investigated the effectiveness of the curriculum. There were 46 students participated the investigation. The results showed that 44(95.7%) of the students thought that the course was helpful for them to adapt to the study of the university, 43(93.5%) of them believed that the course was helpful to understand the basic knowledge and the scientific frontiers of microbiology, 41(89.1%) of the students acknowledged that their active learning ability and innovation consciousness have been improved, and 38(82.6%) of them believed that the course stimulated their interest in scientific research.In the four rounds of the curriculum, the scores of the students were (94.36±2.59),(93.62±2.65), (93.81±2.71), and (95.08±2.01), respectively. Microbiology freshmen seminar is helpful for freshmen to adapt to the university learning style, helps them understand the basic knowledge and scientific advances of microbiology, cultivates their active learning ability, and stimulates their interest in scientific research.
